Frames per second display ingame

Hi guys.
On my old PC I used to have the FPS displayed in the left top corner in purple letters ingame , I have a new PC now and I can't remember how I set it up, and whether I downloaded a program that does it . How I can have this feature running again please.

That's likely to be from usage of Game Booster I'd guess.

FRAPS is a yellow FPS display , but works great. http://www.fraps.com/

MSI afterburner also has a setting for FPS display.

Running trainz windowed will show framerates.
It also allows you to surf the web, and look at maps, all the while running Trainz/Surveyor

Trainzoptions File: -windowed (instead of -fullscreen).
trainz/start/options: select the display, the next smaller size down, from your PC's native screen resolution.
