OK. Good news from LR 7 to the refinery is done. Added a small truck dump for coal loading also a small pond and road crossing. If you want to see picture just ask.

I am still cranking away on a very large section from LRR Yard to the Lewiston Highway.

I also have decided to not post pictures publicly so that when this is done, people can say "Wow" to everyones' hard work because we are putting fine details to this MP Short Line Route.
 
Bad news everyone Somehow my progress was not saved so were back at square one between LR 7 and the Exxon Refinery.
So I'm going to add a small switching puzzle with some industries. Any idea on what types everyone would like to see?

Auto-save is on but my game sometimes forgets to Auto-save. This was one of those time that it didn't... :(

But good news I have Started work on a Module of Richmond Yard and Industrial Area. Paper mill, Sugar refinery, Small Oil Dealer.
 
I had to re-install trainz yesterday. So I lost everything i was working on except for a few file i saved. As far as my module goes I'm going to have to rebuild it but make it better this time.

Edit: Started on a New Module this morning its 3 boards long. I've built a small Ethanol Plant.

Well, mostly moved and set up. Still settling in, but seams like other then one button on my key board not making it every things running fine. And my Raildriver should be here by next week. (It couldn't fit in any of my bags.)

Now let me reply Mcguirel's comments. Then I'll try o get to others.


We have made some significant findings that may also be the source of record issues. With our groups help after taking time to look at the session and records in great detail here is my findings:

1) CMTM Destinations are not that of the Trackmarks (Example -LR and -FM). With this in mind, it is just a mismatch observation.

2) People would like to see the misspelling of Exon to Exxon in the Route/Session/Records.

3) With the issues of disappearing consists and script issues within the Exxon Refinery Area, a good correction that may be the source as well as potentially the tanker in use is for Exon TM 2 thru 7, 9, and 10 the radius needs to not overlap each other.

4) QuickDrive V2 Rule Needs Removed. This rule always defaults to Weekday Wednesday. With this in mind, we ran at test with assigning ECS Records to LRR/FMR Yard Consists without changing to the calendar day. We found that LRR did not have any record issues when assigned in this manner whereas before we did. FMR is a different story. Thru record assigning, Danny5 told me what cars took bad records and then I researched the records. There is a good chance that 3 railcars need to be replaced. I can give you more specifics at a later time on this. They are the CSXT Hoppers (2 on route), NN Boxcar (1 on route), and 3 out of the four NS Boxcars took bad records. We investigated the records and could not find the error.

5) Scenery efforts from all are going well including a potential breakthrough for multiplayer.

1) This is done as routing. The track marks cant have -LR or -FM in them. This is also done for maximum flexibility of the route and session. Any one could go in and replace or remove the -LR and/or -FM with what ever they like and have their own session. (Replace -LR with -NS and -FM with -CSX for example.)

2) On my todo list. My keyboards been bit iffy after I spilled a soda on it and they keys are hard to press ans some times stick.

3) Ill see about fixing them.

4) No can do. Quick Drive V2 is needed to get CMTMS3 to work. It defaults to Wednesday as that's the day I installed it on.

5) Yay!



Middesert. Once I am 100% up and running here I'll get to work on installing that module.



Danny. There is nothing I can do to move the switch list window. Thats all on Dap and how he has CMTMS programed.
 
Glad you are doing well, moved successfully, and almost back to a normal daily life minus adjusting to the new area.
As for your replies, I understand completely.
 
I'm working on the area between LR 7 and the Exxon refinery. Instead of adding a module with the Ethanol Plant. I'm just going to add it to the blank area along with a LPG to Propane Plant. You can either have these as working indusries or abandoned areas.

Rolling Stock - CMTM Compatibility Issue

The FMR High Cube Boxcar originating at Riverside on LRR does not allow to be marked as delivered.

Is it saying "not a freight car" or some thing else. It might be an issue with the records.

Im thinking, after I add in Mid Deserts Module and any others I get before Wednesday, of once again redoing the records.

The original record destination to Home Depot remains the same and the car shows loaded. No error of any sort when you try to deliver.
Unfortunately, my module will not be ready by Wednesday as it is 16 tiles in size and placing a lot of detail into the area.

Jib With GN1996 who made a hump yard and I put in the hump yard kit tested it and uploaded it.
Mcquairel tested it in MP it worked fine.
We found that The bill of Latin you can move, but it pops back to the left and cover up the
hump yard window when a car is uncoupled.
Need to get the hump yard window to were it can be moved I'll ask LLJ.
Now to the FM route the tankers have to be replaced be cause they are causing a problem.
We run a session with 4 of us we didn't use them and we didn't have as many ghost trains.
Now I cloned the FM route and session and added longer tracks to all the INDs, changed the
radius's of all the track marks and junctions.
I added a hump yard in Durand with two receiving tracks, one with ECS TM and one with a Durand
yard TM. I think that all cars in a IND at the start of the game should have a destination to
there yard then to another IND.
Lets not make this route any bigger then it is right now until we get it working smoother.
I would you to spending your time on fixing the records then putting in scenery.

To make the Hump Tower asset accessible with CMTM and thru multiple attempts, the Hump Tower Window has been moved in a new stationary position.
A new asset for Multiplayer Support is necessary and have contact the appropriate person.

When the new asset (Hump Tower - CMTM Compatible) is uploaded and a minor retarder tweak, the efforts of GN1996, Danny5, others, and including myself (did very little to be honest) will be at 100%.
This will be the first known CMTM Multiplayer Hump Yard and thru the testing a spectacular addition.
I am under the impression it may be difficult at best to contact the original creator.
If my tweaked asset is uploaded, I take ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT FOR THE HARD WORK OF THE ORIGINAL CREATOR.

My scenery on the Lewiston 14 Tile Area is coming along nicely.
The FMR - Lewiston Mill area after two days work is complete minus ATLS Crossing Setup and additional detail work.
The open areas should only take another 3 to 5 days estimated of course.

I am working on the config.txt description and maintaining the original license of LLJ.

Again, for anyone who downloads this modification for CMTM Utilization, I take ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT for the dedicated and hard scripting work of LLJ.
I do not like to practice this on a regular basis and in fact this will be the first and only time I do such an action.
However, I did respectfully attempt to reach the original creator prior to addition work and uploading.
