Forum Search

Has anyone else had trouble with the forum search? It tells me nothing was found even when I know that there is results.

I also tested it with searching every post in any area of the forum for the word hi and also got a the no results try a different keyword again.

The forum search needs more that three letters, anything else will return the 'not found' message.

Even when I search the forum for 3ds max and or a geforce 520 the error spits out for me...

In advanced search.....

enter........... 3dsmax (no space)

Two points

1: Always use advanced search.

2: For any multiword search, enclose the words in quotes as "3ds max". This would not have found "3ds max" as the name is wrong as Aardvark1 pointed out. You asked the wrong question.

Searching requires patience and experimenting until you get the result you want. Like life, you have to ask the right questions.

Thanks I actually found out that it was a problem with my browser, I assume the characters were not recognized as there by the search engine. I moved to Ie instead of opera and all started to work again.
