Fluted shrubbery

Had to back up the harddrive and re-install Windows7, put back TS2010 as-is and since then the trees and shrubs have looked like dart flights more than usual.
Must be a setting out somewhere but I am baffled.

Click the Main Menu and do Edit Environment and set the month to a summer month.
