Florida Train Shows and Conventions

*Update to Florida Train Show Thread

As of now, there are a fair amount of shows and conventions in the state.

September - FECRS Convention Miami, FL

November 15, 2008 - Pioneer Day at H.B. Plant Railroad Historical Society
Plant City, FL

February - SMRC / Sarasota Model Railroad Club Train Show (BIG SHOW!)

March 21, 2009 - H.B. Plant Railroad Historical Society Swap Meet and Train Show Plant City, FL

* may happen, I am not completely sure

I am up for at least March's H.B. Plant Show and February's SMRC.

Hopefully I will meet fellow Trainz enthusiasts at any of these locations. If you would like to meet up, please reply to this thread.

I would suggest that you had searched the forums first. I have already created a thread supporting Florida Train shows. I would suggest you post there and also look up the Winter SMRC which has been cancelled

Oops, my bad!

I will transfer the upcoming events.

I am disappointed that SMRC is cancelled. That was one show I planned to go to.

Oh, there is no show at the fairgrounds either. The next big show in Florida is the Febuary SMRC, which will be huge.

Thanks for the tips! I heard that Feb. SMRC is so big that it will be more hobby focused and that the SMRC rented both halls! Probably plenty to look around in February.
