First Class Ticket

I have both Trainz 10 and Trainz 12, I didn't activate the First Class Ticket on the Trainz 10, as I was saving it for later during my attempt to build a scenario.

After buying the Trainz 12, I went to use the First Class Ticket for trainz 10 and I have found it has disappeared, I still have the Trainz 12 one available.

Could someone possibly shed some light on this.

TRS2006 used to come with a 3 month complimentary FCT (but since unsupport it no longer does).

Did TS10, or TS12 come with a complimentary FCT ?

Or did you buy a FCT ?

It seems you are misunderstanding the First Class Ticket system. Tickets are applied at the account level, not the game level.

I was contemplating buying a FCT for 10 but then found out that 12 was imminent so hung on,

It depends on what happened at the time, as N3V don't always do complimentary FCTs unless mentioned on the product page.

Hi David,

The FCT is, as Shane explained, applied to your account and not to the game its self. The ticket will expire unless you activate it, and never activate more than one ticket at a time. Once activated, the clock ticks on and the ticket-use-time runs down. Given the cost of a full year at about $22, it's a worthy investment anyway.

If you have a complimentary FCT it is good for all downloading in versions of Trainz, until it expires.

If you buy a FCT at a special sale price, and do not activate it, you can keep it stockpiled un-activated for as long as N3V is in business

You can have more than one un-acativated FCT stockpiled.

A FCT only begins counting down daily, once you activate it ... and you can download in all versions of the game

A 1 year FCT is now on sale at Simcentral, and works out to @ 0.06 cents per day

Due to being on dial up all these years, until now, I've had a few FCTs expire from never activating them. I don't think you can bank them forever.
