Finding locations

Is there an easy way to find a business location? The find button shows a close up, but how do you find it on the map?

Is there an easy way to find a business location? The find button shows a close up, but how do you find it on the map?

I am assuming you mean the Trainz Map in game? Do you name business locations? By 'Business location' do you mean and Industry?
A little more info would help please.

Yes, the industries I have to go to on the Trainz map.

I Surveyor, go to Main Menu box and select Find Objects
Select the named Industry and click the check mark
Ctrl M to get Mini Map and zoom as required. Make sure you have Map Display Options - Industry Names is selected.
The map should be centered on the industry.

Key shortcuts

Or press Ctrl+F, that takes you to the Find objects... box too.
Best thing to do is name industries in a similar way to the local area so all you have to remember are place names and then choose from the list.

As above:- Use a naming routine you understand or note down names of the industries you install.
Then hit Ctrl+F (Find menu), type the first or first couple of letters of the place you are looking for and click OK.
