Find information on a specific locomotive?

The coal plant nearby has two of its own locomotives on the property (An SW1200 and an SW1), and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of finding out more information on them (build date, history, etc)

It's tough since they don't actually belong to a railroad, but I figure there's got to be some data out there.

Google the power company and poke around their site, if they have one. You may stumble on something. Or, call the plant up and ask. You never know.
They may be able to give a build date and info from the loco's nameplate. Ask nice and they may give a tour maybe.
