Fehlendes Kuid

As a Trainz Plus Gold member, I downloaded the route included in the pre-pass, the Swedaryn Island Narrow Gauge Railway.

I wanted to play the Freeraum Spring quest, but I got a message saying that the asset Kuid: 45324:25598 Payware was missing and wasn't on the DLS. Will this be fixed, or what could be causing this? Thanks for the info. Best regards, Peter

Both Free Roam sessions refuse to start and display various warning messages: sometimes the same as you for different assets, sometimes "Assets XXX have been modified and must be reverted to original". Never seen that before!

I saw that message once a very long time ago. It makes sense if some third-party assets were installed, and overwrote packaged or built-in assets. The message is straightforward for a change and not something written in Programmer.

This has to be a bug on the game´s side. That kuid is part of an industry asset, meaning it should be bound to the route, not the session. If other sessions work, but the freeroam does not, it is a bug caused by the game, for a reason that is unknown to me. If this was reoccurring, I would have been notified of this during the beta testing, but it passed even N3V´s review. I don´t know what is causing this.

I can think of a possible work around though. Open your content manager, set the filter to kuid, write/paste it into the search field, right click the listed un/known asset, select "view asset versions", and download the available version on the DLS.

<kuid2:45324:25598:1> is bundled with the route, so it looks like the game fails to recognize it as an update of <kuid:45324:25598>.

Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately, I don't speak English and use Google translators to write. The tips from the content manager didn't help. The link for the Trainz bug report is unfortunately in English. Unfortunately, I've discovered many other bugs in existing payware products. Currently, my current version of Trainz Plus is Release Assertions-130472. I'm frequently encountering error messages like this, and I have no idea how to handle it. Thanks again for your help, Peter

Ah, that might be the problem as you are using a beta version of Trainz which is open to a lot of problems.
I would suggest trying it in a public retail version of TRS22 or Trainz Plus without updating it into the beta branches and see if you still encounter the issue.

Cheers
