Fall Harvest - Nebraska!!

Hi all,
I just checked out the Trainz Store and saw that the Fall Harvest route is on sale for only $9.00. I also read about the issues with certain sessions, so this is the question that comes to me: is it worth getting it or wait to see it be more fixed up? For me, I don't know the area, so I'm not going to complain of how the scenery is set up. Thanks for your time

This is for Bob Cooper. Love this route. Love Bailey Yard. BUT, I found two tracks that are not connected coming off the twin track hump yard on the far left. Tried to connect them in edit mode and no go. Help please? After playing with both yards, I have found more tracks with open gaps, almost all are where the retarders are supposed to be. And also several switches that have no levers hooked up to them, a simple oversight considering how many there on this route. Also I have had several cars roll all the way through the yards and out the other end. Please help. I would love to play around with it if I could fix these things, but it looks like this layout is locked.

If you like yards, yes definitely! If you like Union Pacific, yes definitely! If you like driving for miles and miles, not so much (about 50 miles end to end). If you like lots of industries, not so much (Edit: I count 12 industries). At $9.00 it is a steal IMO.

Locomotive maintenance facility at North Platte

Just past the top line of locomotives is one of the two hump yards, beyond is the yard offices, yard maintenance, and MoW tracks, beyond that are the main through tracks, beyond that, just past the orange trees is another flat large yard. You get the idea.

In this shot you can see the other hump yard tower, in fact there are four large sub-yards in this shot. I have over 1000 rail cars in this session (not counting locomotives) but, as you can see it looks empty. If you google earth this yard this route is pretty much identical with the real world yard. I think it is the largest yard in trainz but who knows.

I know this is an old thread and that the route wasn't made for 2019 but I'd thought I'd mention during the Midnight Rescue session, I can't get back onto the main after picking up the disabled train and reaching the end of the siding. The signals stay red, the path doesn't set, even manually switching signals keeps you stuck at the red. The AI train that passes is long gone, so I don't think that is the issue.

By any chance are you in DCC mode and running backwards after coupling to consist? If so try swapping logical engine direction so forward is forward. I've found that some signals don't work properly if an engine is running "forward" in reverse. Hope that makes sense.

You can always go into Surveyor, Edit Session and delete the command that ends the game when running a red signal. Then just run the signal and proceed.
