F7 Reskin thread.

More importantly, how did you change out the side grills? IE, from Farr vertical slit to horizontals?

@Kree8tiviT- Nice reskin!

@n8phu- You can edit the side grills by opening up the santafe_sidegrill.tga file.

Another reskin from me....

So...can you make a weathered reskin of the pilot and under carriage, like the one shown by Kree8tiviT, without doing it yourself? Hmmmm...I think you can. Just use the texture from my reskin of the NYC F7A and F7B. Ohhh...and when you're done...claim it as your own work. :D Nice move...

Cheers,
Fred

Thank you, I'm still working on the Erie Lackawanna reskins, I promise that ELS is next on my list. I've been a little busy with other things outside trainz, which comes first so I have had limited time to do any reskinning.

It was just kind of a joke. It is your time and investment, therefore you have full control of what you want to work on and offer, not anyone else. :wave:

SRR89,

Were you able to make the ELS600 for WCL? Just wondering. Nice work by the way.

Thanks

Yes it's still on my list, I have been extremely busy with school and stuff, the small amount of time I do have every day isn't even enough to work on the Erie F7's, so I just mess around with MSTS. I promise it is next right after the Erie F7's. :)

-Man what would it take to get that BN Cream And Green Skin??? My Favorite!

-Joe
At this point it looks the same, I need better side-on shots of it to replicate the text/logos on it, if there's anyone nearby IRM and can get shots of them I'd be more than happy to put this up on Jointed Rail as freeware

Is anyone willing to make a Union Pacific F7 from the newer F7 that most are using???

Well, better late than never. Managed to finish it like I said I would. Of course by now I have been beaten to it but I'll try and get mine released once the few problems are ironed out - That is if Hert is ok with mine coming out so soon?

A rather grubby pair sit in the yard, waiting for their next duty;
