F.M.A. --- The quintessential and nonesuch screenshots' :)

Tanks for the reflections, guys!

@ Captain Scarlet and Laika - the "stone" project is going on, a couple of St. Lazare assets are on the way...

@ Romour3 - yes, it is absolutely possible.

@ nexusdj - am I to understand that... blue brick?

Thanks Vendel

See this example of a bridge on the North Norfolk Railway:

(PS- it's not my photo so I don't think it can be used as the basis for a texture, unfortunately, but I expect nexusdj will have something suitable if you need an image to work from.)

Cheers

The new UK bridges are absolutely brilliant- many thanks, Vendel.

I wonder if it would be possible to put in a request in relation to the spline brick arched bridges?
that they do. I'd like to second the spline wish list. I admit finding slightly unnerving that many of your new bridges are set scenery items, many without 'ends'. Splines would be the bees knees.

Most excellent. Having trouble finding which pack corresponds to what but once I get my acts together I'll download it all and see what's what. what I really like is the realism of the texturing. Any scene with these laid transforms it radically, even if there's nothing around!

Yes, I managed to do the elevated former postal building outside Saint Lazare, as well as all 27 platforms: 1, 2, 3, 4.

.... I have noticed my texture being used, in a number of locations, .... ;) .... I made it, for my LNER raised platform, using photoshop and actual photos of 'the LNER raised platform' - the now disused Derby Friargate.

.... not in this post, but I have seen some bridge piers with the blue brick angle plate bridge textures mentioned, but without the girder spans that I put upon them, with other bridge pieces atop, and talk of release .... not that I would mind, credit where credit is due .... I was not trying to stir things up, ..... the bridges about which this post is dealing with are excellent. :)

Good evening Kemplen,

you did not make any trouble, maybe i was not asking exact enough :hehe: . I've read just the posts before your posting and was wondering which of the two mentioned examples of Rumour and Lewisner were yours. But now my question is answered...

Talking 'bout FMA, lately I've been working on a new layout, where I experiment a lot with some of the Viaducts and roads, very simple usage, very good effect. I hope you'll find it interesting for future projects :)

Thanks for that Vendel!

I also hope to post some screenshots which include some of your content as a thank you. Once I've gotten the content I was looking for I'll do this for you.

Cheers again.

Recently I released two pilot maps of the incoming "Project Sudety '1977" system.

#291
#274

Their creations at the level that they represent was available mainly with the help of FMA equipment.

FMA bridges, viaducts, pillars, pylons, retaining walls, fences were extremly usefull. Many interesting sites, like gravel/coal mines, factories, heavy industrial regions would be hard to imagine without FMA factories, abandoned buildings, water towers and such. The same thing goes for tracks, which are the basis of all my maps for a long time now. The most recognizeable point however and to me the most valuable of them all are textures. FMA textures helped build a very realistic hilly landscape, and hide random interesting effects such as rivers, streams and shadows.

Well. What can I say. Guys: Thank you for these wonderfull creations. Without them TRS would be a much less interesting place to make your railroad dreams come true.

@ Kilanziom - Excellent cityscapes, as always!

Captain, I'd like to help you to find the way by this small sample map
which contains all DLS-released UK assets, also a lot off beta stuff
and some other unreleased things

These links are no longer working and I was wondering whether they contained the missing assets used in the Frischland2 layout.
