Extending sections of track between blocks to make lines more 'realistic' in length

Hi

I upgraded from Trainz V1.2 to the 2006 version, have converted and imported routes i made into the newer version

I have noticed that in my early route building days I didnt make the routes long enough for certain sections of the line,

Is there a way to add extra 'tile' land sections between pre-existing sections? in order to extend the land between, say, one tile containg one station and other another station?

Make two clones of the route you want to extend. Call one East and the other West. For the sake of discussion, assume your route lies East-West. Where tracks are going to be cut, add new track vertices each side of the cut line and delete the track between.

Load the East clone and delete all the sections on the Western end up to the dividing line. Repeat this for the West clone deleteing all the Eastern sections to the dividing line.

To either one (not both) add the required number of bridging sections. Finally merge the extended section to the other reduced section.

When we built the DHR, several people worked on small sections which were finally stitched together
