Exhaust Flames?

I was driving the locomotive that is blue with a yellow stripe through it, forget what its called but you use it in the first tutorial. I was pushing around some cars and going back and forth and sometimes flames would come out of the exhaust. it looked like Yellow and red smoke. what did i do to do this?

You just gave her a little bit too much throttle too quickly. It's nothing to be worried about, it happens quite often with older, worn, GE locos.

Curious

this did happen when i had a big consist, and i slowed to a very slow speed. I just wanted to know how to do this again. it looks cool. So this can happen when im at a dead stop and i max the throttle right away?

Which locomotive....?

 Hello AmtrakGuy & Welcome to Trainz!

We have literally thousands of locomotives available from the Download Station as well as 3rd party Content Creators...

...but just a few at this time produce flames...

Jointed Rail has some General Electric locomotives that shoot flames about eight-feet into the air. Browse around & check them out.

If there are more, please post what you find here.

Since your a new poster to the Auran Trainz Forums, here is a thread to help use the forums daily...or whenever you wish.

PS look under the hood (go into "roaming" mode...ie the fourth camera toggle) there's no engine; just a figure of superman!! guess he ate beans earlier :hehe: :hehe:
