I caught this old Girl simmering with a cut of rails for the DeSoto roundhouse project, and later saw her leaving with the empties:

Thanks for the advice and warnings about smoke pollution and fire risk.


I’m very grateful for the alert. I’ve just re-checked Surveyor and the grass was alight!

I’ve managed to put out the fire and all is now OK. There's just a bit of scorched earth, but no lasting damage done!
