Hey Fred Thanks for the Kind remark..Guess what, I now have your NYC 6 Chime whistle on it, I love it.. I hope you didn't mind that I changed the smoke..

Could you tell me how you changed the smoke exactly? I've been admiring your smoke effects, and wondering how to do it...haven't been able to find information on the forums yet. And I've been looking.

Wow... Awesome shots FSP.

Kon, I noticed you like pulling freight with that thing, no reason not to I suppose. Your shots look really nice though. Great landscaping.

ulmer94: Thanks for asking about the smoke..The first thing you have to do download #242 Renfe Engine, because it has the smoke you want..You can download it from Trensim.com..The next thing after you downloaded is to open the file of the Renfe Engine(Edit through explorer)..The first page you see, Hi-lite The "humoconderada.tfx" and copy..Now go to the file of the engine(Ben Neal's Baldwins) and the very first page you see Paste "humoconderada.tfx..now open up con fig file and find "Stack.tfx", change it to read "humoconderada.tfx"..Then go back(Edit through Explorer) save and commit it..Good Luck and let me know if it works OK for you..

Thanks.

That is the rework I did for the N&W Appalachian Coal TS12 Route.

Correction - I made them version 2009, uploaded on June 30th, 2011. The screenshot is correct as it is TS12 Updated Content I did free willed. I wanted everyone to enjoy the updates. There is another available.

I tried to update the TS12 Built-In Content released in April to look better.
Unfortunately, I am disappointed I did this for the route creator, but I hope you enjoy it. It looks much much much better now with detailed weatherring that of which is used in Payware Locomotives..

Sadly, that is the last public works I am providing as a result of developing issues that is not something I ever expected.

Will do, I'll try it tomorrow though. Thanks!

UPDATE: It didn't work quite that way, but I wasn't using one of Ben Neal's locos either...I was using mrtrain's SP GS-4, which I have modified to suit my tastes. I had changed the smoke effects already, and whe I set the mode to "stack," pasted humoCONFEDERADA.tfx in the folder and pointed the config file to it, the smoke completely disappeared. I eventually just went with the plain old smoke and set the texture to the one that came with the 242 Confederacion. That did work with a little tweaking to get the appearance right. I'll post a screenshot later, and I'll try putting humoCONFEDERADA.tfx in Ben's J Class and see how THAT works.

Here's my modified version of mrtrain's Daylight.

Showing off how well it looks... :)
Again, I'm not using the .tfx file, I'm just using the texture file.

Thank you very much for pointing me at that!

Eaglefan: The only thing I can suggest is You might want to try and commit the Engine Through Explorer..Then try Extended Data Base Repair..:p

@Eaglefan9727: Apparently it got messed up when they updated it for newer versions; I downloaded mine in UTC in 2009 after UTC had been obsolete for who knows how long, when I got TS2009, I just imported all my content from UTC into 2009, so mine works fine. Lilb is working on a GS-4, but I don't know when it'll be finished, he's got some pretty good screenshots of it though: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=70859&page=20

@BobCass: The .tfx file did work with the J class, and looks pretty good once it gets running, but when it starts up, there's a big ball of smoke swallowing the front of the locomotive...I think the scale being set at "12" may have something to do with that, I'll have to do some experiments.
