The only two things I can think of:
1) your settings (you might have to tweak them a bit)
2) your computer hardware (i.e. your processor, video card, memory, etc...)
Chances are it's number 2 that applies...although you can look into tweaking 1 a bit to get more looks or performance out of trainz.

Oh MY...where'd you get that?! I've seen pictures of her online, i beleive she's a rebuilt class 52 kreigslok (my favorite foreign steam engine) is she not? Some guy in france found her strafed i beleive. It's what ignited my dream to build a proper ACE3000 (one NOT an F40PH incognito) based on the L&N M-1 Berkshire.
