#107 seen on early turn. She acts as the town's universal alarm clock while ascending a 5.5% grade towards Vale Creek.

And a shot of Cass #5 on the same line. I'm so glad Yukonzoom remastered this; I got the smokebox and stack working just as the entire boiler failed, which would have been another pain in the rear had I not checked his site.
Now for something completely different:

ZecRail's DD582 rolls across the trestle bridge outside Sometown on a rainy day.

Having arrived at the terminus of Mimosa, the DD gleams, with patterns polished onto the tender and cab sides and the cylinders under a short bust of sunlight.

After being turned, the crew set about servicing the DD.

@Bob
My steam/smoke effects come from lots of work lol. They're using custom textures (now on the Download Station), and a mix of twinkles and 'standard' smoke/particle effects. They're also scripted to change depending on the regulator and cut-off position.

Zec.

I have to complement you on your VR generic 2-8-0. I was reluctant to download it because I do American 1900~1950 all steam of course but it is a beautiful engine, well done and perfect for my 1910~1920 route! I also use you VR SG track on my 1940~1950 route, again very nicely done.

Normally I prefer more modern routes, but these screenies from trainboi1 make me want to try out an old west route.

Is that route available on the DLS?

Cheers,
Ian
