This shot amazes me. Viewing it at 400% magnification, you can see the detail of the rickity track and derailment (from previous great screenshots of yours). And the distant mountains look so real and vegitated ... but with not a single tree on them ... but indeed they look very follaige textured, and the depth of the scene is amazing.

Textures for mid-range and distant landscapes win every time. You get much better frame rates –and they are quick to do.

Hi everyone,
After starting to show my screens in the Screenshot Competition tread I will continue here with my virtual journey in search of steam.
Now I'm visiting Poland thanks to the excellent content from SLW,Kilanziom and others.
Let's start with a shed interior: note the contrast between the pampered pet loco of the shed embellished with the national flag and the scruffy freighter alongside.
