That's a strange one, what's the central jackshaft (?) for? Lubrication? A third cylinder?

the jack shaft is for balance because of how the rods connect you need a counter balance so that the rods don't bend or snap

The shadows are aproaching the steam era in RENFE, perhaps this express had never existed, but the situation in both worlds (fictional and real) is the same, condemned to dissapear. Her majesty "La Confederación" pulls a large express climbing a steep ramp, the summit is just a few metres behind the photographer.

Well its on the DLS, just search for "60 Class" and the loco i have is the first 3 going across made by Victrainz.
