Even the Magic Kingdom is not Immune...

The disappearance of the movie is probably a bit of both. I have to say that I agree with them. One of their employees DIED. I think they have the right to have the video removed and that the guard had the right to have the person stop filming. He probably knew the driver and was almost freaking out. Who knows, the driver could even have been a close relative of the guard or something like that.

I do agree with that, but I doubt that that's the only reason for pulling the video. I mean c'mon, Youtube shows a video of an Iranian girl getting shot and bleeding to death, then why would they let this be pulled if it wasn't for Disney yanking the copyright chain?

...more a matter of venue...

 Local news markets(250) usually take videos down after a certain period to recycle bandwidth, etc.

YouTube & its clones will have the post forever & a resort & recreation firm would naturally defend against bad publicity, & can you blame them?

These things are well thought out...maybe a little more practice is needed here & there however you would not throw baby out with the bathwater.

The equipment is twenty years old but they have all but a round-house for total care of the power-cars as well as the carriages...they have some awesome turnouts from the main to the maintenance building. The safety of the passengers mandates a care simular to the airline industry as far as preventive maintenance goes...the money is there to back that up.

True but even with the great amount of care disney puts into these vehicals, they still will deteriorate with time, reguardless of how many times they are mainteneced...... however...... our vision of disney's high standards may not be too correct, and most likely is subject to distortion...... case and point, the new mark VII monorails were "run into the ground", so to speak, when they were introduced to the park, not so much by the neglegence of the maintenece staff, but by a slight over eagerness of the cast members to introduce them, and a deadline set by disney corporate to have the old markV monorails out of the shop and disassembled....... so we may argue that disney's judgement is not as perfect as we percieve, but rather that of one subject to mistakes that can lead to failures in equipment, or mistakes such as this one...

Here it comes...just look-up...

 How would you like to have to reboot your computer before changing routes...?

I road the WDW monorail system when the doors opened automatically & cast members had to manually close them.

Checkout the vegetation on the long ride through the Reedy Creek politically correct swamp...

Here is a good ride though there is a little bit of glare from the hot Florida sunlight off the dashboard...

Here's a WDW Overspeed Penalty Application & Reset...
