Error Message?

When I open the CMP, a message pops up that says "Unable to Register Trainz URL Registry key." It has the option to close the page, or click "Ok." If I do "Ok," it pops up again. After I click Ok again, the CMP appears, but the message pops up again. After another Ok, it disappears.

I also cannot download anything.

Any ideas of what's wrong?

I am not sure of the problem, but try this:
Go to the Settings section of CMP. If you have not already entered your username and password, do so. If you have, delete it from the list and click "save." Then close CMP. Open it again and re-type your username and password into the box, and click save.

I tried it, but it didn't work. The same error message pops up. Thanks anyways.

BTW, is the Download Station closed for the Holidays? I am unable to access it.

G'Day matt_4894, as TRS06 and earlier are now unsupported products they will not access the DLS without either a later registered version of trains or an FCT. A 1 year FCT is not expensive and you get fast download speeds, no limits and priority access.
As far as I am concerned it is a bargain.

Hi gremlin; (I love that movie!)
I purchased an FCT this afternoon. But whenever I get make a search on the DS, no reults show up - just the search options and the Help page.


Now I'm getting it too! I can access CMP though. This is with TC3.
Weird, isn't it? I can access CMP too, but I can't download anything. I'm not sure if thats related to the error message, or something else.

I can download. I just have to wait until about now (It is 12:15 over here) before I can download. I am actually downloading right now. Everyone is experiencing issues with downloading. There are multiple threads on this subject. I do not have a FCT but I can still download sometimes.

But it won't even let me access the DS. All I get is a help page whenever I do a search. :(
 
Have you got a FCT? If not, you need to buy one to access the DLS as TRS2006 and earlier versions are no longer supported.

Yep. I activated it, too.

EDIT: Huh... that's funny. It didn't activate. And I tried again, but it still wouldn't activate.

Firstly, make sure it has not expired, and that you are on the right page.

Once it does activate, change your password in your profile (you can use the same one) and clear out your download list in Content Manager, if there is anything still in it that has not been downloaded yet.
