Hello..I have a question. How do I make a custom Enginespec? I know how to mess with the configuration text in the content manager. But if I want the maximum speed to be 50mph (or 80km) do I simply type max speed 50 or something? And what about braking....how would I type that in the configuration text?

Are you looking for accurate cab mode performance or just DCC?

General advice, start witj something close, and weak values to see what effect they have.

That's like telling me to teach you how to speak a foreign language.

I respond better to being asked, politely and it took me months to get a basic grasp of Trainz physics, and 16 years later I'm still improving, so it's not as simple as "just do this".

I don't really do diesel ones but the Trainz Wiki will tell you what most of the tags mean for both, although if you know how a steam loco works (which you need to really) most of them are fairly self-explanatory.
