Enginesound Volume

Enginesounds are just wave files, you can use Sound recorder to change them, I've rechanged many of them to 44khz 1ch mono, to find this you go to

Start> All Programs> Accessories> Entertainment> Sound Recorder.

Now that you opened it you'll need to open the file in CMP "open in explorer" close the window leaving it open for edit, then click on Sound Recorder, open> then find your trainz-install, for me it will be "G:/Auran/TRS2006/editing and you can change it one at a time there, just make sure when you save them you have it on the right freqancy you want, you need to change it each time you edit, default is 22khz 2ch stereo, once you've done editing you go back into CMP and commit.
