Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

AC-9 and a maybe the Reading G's sounds fun. Southern Pacific & Reading so far are the only two in the thing for JR. Not sure if any of your steam guys have been active (I know ANL kind of threw in the towel).

I'm almost certain this model has been brought up in this thread before. I, and I'm sure many others, would like to see a Santa Fe FP45 in warbonnet, yellowbonnet, kodachrome, and the original freight scheme (wow they had these in a lot of paint schemes).

(This particular one, ATSF 93, now resides at the Great Plains Transportation Museum in Wichita, KS, and I've seen in person many times.)

I feel these would very nicely compliment current ATSF offerings from JR, especially the new SD40-2.

Meow, I agree, I would like to see JR offer engines of this type. It seems we have more than our share of big modern road power. These are close to the center cab South Bay 90 and 91, I think in JR's South Bay pack.

A small correction on the Klamath Northern: According to theGE SL series roster, the KN 207 is a SL-125 built 12/1982.

The Port of Tacoma, WA No. 705 was a GE SL-110 engine used by the port in the very early 80's. I remember it being on the property for about 18 to 24 months. Where it went, I have no idea.

Regards,

You Guys Should Make a Payware Package with 2 GP-7U's and 1 Ex. FEC GP38-2! IT would be the Chesapeake And Albemarle Pack!

Looks like you tried to upload from your desktop, Chris. Try uploading to image hosting site, then put the URL link to THAT in here.

GE SL-144: I love these engines, they are just so unique. I could easily see these on a shortline made by JR.

Those do look like neat little critters- something right up my alley. Into the queue they go!
