Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

probably explains why you dont have/know about this free item http://jointedrail.com/media/catalo...f78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/s/p/sp_f7s.png

(it wont be on the DLS any time in the near future. sorry.)

Ever thought of making a Download Station version of the SP "Black Widow" F7 with limited features? Kind of like getting a full Soundtraxx decoder and installing it in a reasonable DCC ready engine VS buying a Bachmann Sound Value engine.
(and I do have a "Black Widow" Sound Value F7; it's a pretty good engine)

Will there be any new Gp38-2 paint schemes? I had heard that the current model is to old and that no new releases of it will be done. Is there a new model in the works or at least in the the planning stage?

Considering that the heritage P42's are slowly rolling out, why not do AMTK 406, the heritage F40PH?

Yep it was an actual DDDD40AX experimental locomotive numbered 9900 as you can see, which Union Pacific built for the sole purpose of conquering the fearsome grades of the Mojave. The body was made of flexible thin aluminum and could bend in the center to help it go around curves too. It was scrapped after three months in service.

Wow that's a rare pic of that loco. It was told that the locomotive was scrapped because UP was tired of paying for the numerous rebuilds required after the fuel tank sagged the whole frame and caused damage to the tank making the entire engine to explode killing anything within 1000 feet. Fuel was also getting a bit pricey. Interesting request

After I finaly looked at that image, I found out that isn't the engine I meant. The one I had in mind was still a Southern Pacific "black widow" F7, only it has 1 headlight instead of 2. (I'm sorta on the search for Trainz that look and sound like the model trains in my collection, such as my "Sound Value" F7 [the only reason I got that one from Bachmann was because no one else made a Southern Pacific F7])

Also, any chance someone over there could upload a Union Pacific NW2 to the Download Station?
(once again, that's one I'm looking for)

It also ran on McDonalds Big Macs and had rainbows come out of the exhaust stack. lol ;)

So wait, was UP 9900 real or not? Cause when I first looked at it I instantly thought it was photoshopped.
(Sorry nicky, I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not :hehe: )

Yea it was absolutely real. In fact there's one made for it in Railworks but unfortunately it's payware and the developer only accepts Dogecoins.
In other news I hear Steam is having a sale for the Sarcasm Add-on, limited time only.

SP F units all had 1 headlight and 1 oscillating light

This picture is of an ABBA set of F units fresh from the manufacturer
