That rarely means anything in the grand scheme of things.Go look on JR website and you will see it's not there anymore
Or the MAC-H ones.It would be nice if JR made EMD SD9043 Mac Undec locomotives. That would be so awesome.
MAC-Hs are impossible due to not having prototype-accurate sounds readily available (all SD90MAC-Hs are scrapped, meaning no 265H engine sounds).Or the MAC-H ones.
Or rebuilt, if I remember well.MAC-Hs are impossible due to not having prototype-accurate sounds readily available (all SD90MAC-Hs are scrapped, meaning no 265H engine sounds).
Au contraire on the soundsMAC-Hs are impossible due to not having prototype-accurate sounds readily available (all SD90MAC-Hs are scrapped, meaning no 265H engine sounds).
I think that sounds more like a Baldwin/ALCO/GE engine to me, but I don't know.Au contraire on the sounds
I believe Audie already confirmed that video is not suitable for use for their enginesounds. They also prefer to go out and record it themselves.Au contraire on the sounds
Oh, so that makes sense. Are the Baldwin/ALCO/GE engines all four stroke, too?The 265 was a 4-stroke engine, hence why it sounds like that in the video
Yes, they areOh, so that makes sense. Are the Baldwin/ALCO/GE engines all four stroke, too?
NorCal, like Bay Area? Small world.I remember hearing one of these idling away outside my old apartment in NorCal. Seeing it was an EMD I thought to myself, what's wrong with that locomotive. That's not what an EMD should sound like. Hearing the throttling up in that video though reminds me of the old GE U series with that chug.
Yes, Bay Area. I had an apartment in Emeryville next to the SP CalP line.NorCal, like Bay Area? Small world.
