Search 'gp60' on the Download Station and you'll find some.

Those are Sporbust's locos from 10 years ago. That's like telling someone that they don't need to get a new computer because their 2005 MacBook Pro still works... Fantastic at the time, still great but outdated.

maybe some CP, IC&E, DM&E SD40-2and CN, BCOL C40-8M

(Pics snipped)

It would be nice to see some Canadian full-cowl frieght power. RRMods already did DME and CP SD40-2's, but I don't know if they did an ICE one.

JR - I've got a suggestion that I'm sure somewhere there would appreciate (namely, Kevin).

In 1994, Conrail had planned to buy 30 more SD60Is. However, they wanted to test AC technology, so they changed the order to 4 SD70MAC-Is and 26 GP60M-Is (to keep total costs equal to what was allocated). They also ordered 4 AC440CWs from GE. However, they tested EMD's SD80MAC shortly after placing these orders, and decided to cancel all of the above and go for 28 SD80MACs. Now supposedly, these 28 became 21 bought & 9 leased (not sure if the 2 demos were bought or leased?) - neither here nor there though - in the end, Conrail got 30 SD80MACs.

So, I was thinking, that should you guys resurrect the GP60M (I thought I heard rumblings about ya'll wanting to rebuild the TS12 built-in model), a Conrail Quality paint scheme would be phenomenal! And, since Athearn has already produced a model of it, I suspect reference photos for general modeling would be easy to come by. Now, no one knows what numbers these GP60Ms/GP60Is would have held (another interesting piece - would they have been M or I models? Seems unclear...), but common consensus around those close to Big Blue is that they were going to be numbered directly behind the GP40-2s. I've also seen unsupported claims that Conrail had ordered 8 GP60Bs as well - this seems less clear and less likely to have occurred, but if you're going to make a GP60M/I, why not a GP60B as well?!

As for the AC440CW, you gents already have a model of that, so perhaps a skin of it would be relatively easy to come up with? I know you offered a CSX "heritage" SD70ACe & ES44AC a while back (thankfully I bought it when it was available) - they've got the right idea, but any Conrail AC unit needs a white bib! No known number series for these, but based on order dates & planned delivery dates, these would have been some of the first (if not the first) AC440CWs built.

So, Conrail Quality GP60Is, GP60Bs, and AC440CWs - if they come, I've got cash monies waiting!!

I appreciate your attention to detail and accuracy, but I do love the idea of what-if/fantasy paint schemes! I hope to see more along the lines of the WM SD70ACe and D&H C39-8 - I'll buy that stuff right up!

Actually we don't yet have the AC44, but I intend to make sure we have a CR skin when we do. I also am interested in seeing a GP60I when we do new GP60s, but based on the date the order would have happened, the cab would have been a later style cab like was found on the SD60Is. Definitely would have been different.

I was thinking you guys had made an AC44... Now that I look at the site, I guess not. Between the -9s and ESs, I suppose I confused myself. I normally stick to the EMD products, unless they're wearing CR blue.

Yeah, the GP60s would have had the latest cabs from the SD60Is, I'm sure. I also read a report (can't recall where) that UP's first AC44s had control stands based on Conrail's C40-8Ws. I'd have to see pics of both to know if that was accurate, but I'm sure either cab would be a "close enough" starting point for a CR AC44 cab.

How about one of these weird things? The D8-32B. Had one on a train a couple months ago and the cab setup threw me off completely...

Here is an Ex GTW use to swith Metamora elevator. Would be neat to see units like this in trainz.

Nice. There's another GTW GP7/9 that works the elevator in Bliss, Idaho. It still has the "GT" on the side, basically no markings changed since the GTW days.

Here's an unusual request...

I don't know much about this. I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) there's only one of these. BNSF 2249 is the only GP38-2B on BNSF's roster, rebuilt from a wrecked unit in the BN days (other sources say Frisco).
