EMD Engine Sounds

Does or can anyone tell me where I can find an emd 710 sound? Specificaly the engine sound that sd70mac and/or the sd75m made. I really want my older emds' to have that whining/screaming sound that they make in notch 8. Thanks in advance

 Go to Jointed Rail and download the freeware EMD SD60 Demo pack.

The best I know of is 45324 53001 2.

Awesome!! Thanks guys. Those are some really good sounds! I thought about tryin to make the gevo sound just a bit louder but... idk what I'm doing there so I'll just let it be. Thanks again!!!

 A hard to beat GEVO enginesound would be 126323 63056

I like it for the ramp-down sound, much more realistic than most, does not get you lost in a throbbing sound, ramps up nicely.

The notch-8 loop is a little kinky but the AI Drivers spend most time in lower notches anyway.

I might have to get that one. JR's GEVO sound is pretty good but I think its not loud enough. Their fdl7 is really good to except a bit on the quiet side also but it sounds just like I was back at work lol

my sounds have been known to remove pictures from the wall... they are not loud enough? i will take that into consideration! :)
They are really good! I'm not saying that they are bad, they are really good acually. I like them anyway. Maybe its just my ears and/or my computer tho. I really like the whining/screaming sound of a throttled emd and the chugging of a ge. You hit the nail on the head with your sounds. I skinned a dash9 (Frank's) into a ac4400cw. If I get permission from Frank to release it, would you mind if I used your fdl7 sound for it?

How does one go about adding a stop/start command to a engine? Is there a script that can be incorporated to an existing loco's spec?
