Embankments.

Hello all you clever people.

Does anyone know an easy way to make an embankment? Any help will be most gratefully welcomed.

Craig.

Laying a track on a gradient, then hitting the "smooth spline" tool button will make a gradient.

I use track to make mountains, and carve valley's and riiver channels, then I delete the track.

Placing many, many tracks radiating out from a mainline @ 20m apart will make a more gentle embankment, after hitting the "smooth spline" tool button.

Hello Craig,
Could you please register your copy of Trainz first.

Hi Deano5. Why? As I have registered my Trainz 2006.

Hello Cascaderailroad. Thanks for your help. Will give your tip a try and let you now how I get on.

We have a red line with 'stations' on it, while you don't

Jamie

Hi Jamie.
And I always thought you were showing off. :hehe:

I did register the game in 2006 when I bought it, but I forgot my password and had changed the email address.

I have asked Auran to change my password (2009), but I still can’t download anything from the download station.

Craig.

Getting away from the main thread You need to register your 2009 Trainz using your station name and your current password. This will add the serial number to your account, give you a pretty red line with 2006, 2009 and make 2009 supportable.

Hello colourlight.

I have the 2006 game not the 2009 one.

3Hello Craig,

After giving myself some extra work putting seperate embankents on both sides I recently came across a set gras embankment with no track and is basically wide for double tracking.

I found a very cool embankment: Concrete_Bank_Spline, which I very often clone & reskin, and I use it all over my route, where the smooth terrain button/grid will not conform without deforming the surrounding terrain.

It makes great concrete watershed river channels found on the Horseshoe Curve, Johnstown, and resembles the Los Angeles River watershed channels.

There's a smooth grass embankment on the DLS. I have used it in my present build and can search out the name/kuid if any use?

You must remember your previous e-mail address, and your originaly username & password from first time that you registered TRS2006 ... although you can change your account UN & PW ONCE only ... it may take a very lengthly time for the helpdesk to respond.

Hello Cascaderailroad.

Nope I can't remember my previous email address nor my original usename/password. This was 4 years ago.

I did ask if the company could change everything, but it didn't work. That was in 2009.

When I have enough money, I'll be buying a new PC and the most recent Trainz. (We'll probably be on version 20 odd by the time I get a new PC. LOL. :hehe: ).

Craig.
