Elvenor meshes?

Hi everybody,
in one of the posts here in the forum I read that Elvenor's meshes are made public, so that they can be re-skinned. Is anyone here in the forum able to verify that?
Thank you very much
Kay:wave:

What I read was that his son was releasing the meshes to the public, but that was back in the original (pre-November 2006) Trainz Discussion Forums.

I would really like to know if his meshes are still available. :udrool: Max really made some fine content. :D ;)

I would also like to know if it is also allowed for content creators (like me :p ;)) to use his textures in our own models, under any conditions.

Regards.

I cannot remember the meshes ever being released. I certainly would have been interested since I had and had used some of the horse traffic ones that Max had released himself. I have a feeling the thing just faded away and that they are now probably lost for ever. I would love to be proved wrong however.

Thanks John,
that's not what I'm after. I've just reskinned a few of his houses (some of them are build in) into a brownish red kind of style and I would like to upload them later at some point, but I don't want to violate the license, that's why are was asking.
Retro thank you, I guess you've read the same post I did. I hoped that someone could be a little bit more clear about it.
Is "Zec" around maybe he can help

You may reskin his work and upload it as long as it is not payware. I have the original email somewhere if needed.

You said that you have the Gmax file for this superb models?
Are we allowed to change gauge for them also or only reskin them?
I would like to change gauge from 3 ft american to 3ft swedish (there is a visible but small difference) on the 63290:5 and reskin it to a european loco wich it resambles (some private railroads bought american locos when needed).

It would be sweet if we could change the gauge a bit but if not allowed, then a reskin is probably enough for me since the gauges is really close - it is fun to hear that it is allowed to make this reskin.

I have some sources but I'm not certain if I have this one. Do you need the source or could you just switch the bogies?

Any way email me and I'll send you what I have.
