Elevated track

Is there a way to make track elevate automatically? I am making an elevated railroad and it has 2 problems. 1, It is annoying to have to keep adjusting the track, and 2, I can't make the track level even.

Type in an elevation numeral (in metric measurements) in Surveyor, use the "apply height" tool button, and click on each track spline point.
