electric track

I am relatively new to TRS2006 and Surveyor. I would like to make a layout with overhead catenarys but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Could someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial for this kind of thing or a post that has a tutorial, thanks!

The easy way is to go into the spline menu, find the catenary you like and set it on the track. Use the shift key to allow you to set one spline over another. An alternative is to set the catenary beside the track, then move it into position.
On straights and gently curves you can place one cat spline point over each track spline point, but on sharper curves you'll need to insert a spline point in between to get the catenary to line up. The manual will explain the various functions and how to access them.

Of course, you can always cheat and get the catenary already attached to the track that's on the DLS. Search for author kenichiro on KUIDS 117608:60318 and 117608:60325. You may be a bit restricted as to what you use them for, but they do save a bit of time fiddling about with splines....
