EDR is running 4 TrainzUtil.exe

TRZ12 pre patch
Started EDR 5hrs ago and just for the heck of it checked Win Task Mgr.
I have 4 TrainzUtil.exe running. Is that normal?

That's normal if it's checking for faulty assets. It's to help speed up the validation process.

I just did View In Main List
It lists 61 open for edit items so far, some have brackets / number (3)
All American Flyer Daylight have either a (1), (2) or (3)
should I delete

and some I know I deleted because I could not fix

Sounds like it's indeed validating assets at that point. It's normal for up to 4 or 5 copies of TrainzUtil to be running when that's happening.

Regarding the numbers at the end, it's worth checking if there are any differences in the actual asset and whether anything else is dependent on them before deleting any of those assets or renaming them.

Regarding the multiple locations, I've seen a few assets like that.

I just committed the American Flyer set and ALL now have errors.
Opened folder and the American flyer all body folder files are empty.
When I revert to original, the files return, some with the original errors.
All the CB%Q Pinoneer Zephyr body folder files are empty.

So every time I I run the EDR I have to re-update all those assets.

If that's happening, then it's likely that the asset is/was corrupt (possibly even prior to the EDR)

Tried just revalidating the items by right click show errors and warnings rather than opening them?

This may possibly work although with Trainz you are never quite sure.
The last time I had a similar sort of problem, on a couple of signals, I closed CM searched for the kuid's in the local and original folders and deleted both copies from each folder and then ran a QDR, if you watch it in the window it should confirm the items have been removed, then just reinstall the originals, which you should then be able hopefully to fix and it should stick.

Thats a good idea. After up-dating to no errors and warnings Ill save to CDP all assets and dependencies.
Delete all files and folders referring to asset and re-install.

One way or another Im going to fix this.
I may have to cut fixed assett folder to desk top change kuid number delete all org kuids run EDR then re install/ commit.
