Editing track to include built-in catenary at a specific height?

Greetings all!

Is there any way to edit a general piece of track and place a piece of overhead wire at a pre-defined height? Do I need to go into Gmax or another editing software and edit it that was or can it as simple as editing dependencies etc in a track config. file? I'm designing a UK Tramway using the BN LRV, and it needs to be about 6.84 metres above the track height. Any help would be immensely appreciated :)

Many regards, Jack

Sounds like a lot of effort, and sounds a bit out of my Trainz knowledge range at the moment :(

Okay then, in your opinion, if you download a route with catenary, how vital is it to you that the catenary "touches" the pantograph at all times? The only reason I'm prioritising catenary quite high is just incase I release the route and people don't like it because the catenary doesn't touch all the time (I don't know how highly people judge a route on accuracy of catenary)

You can't control pantograph contacts. In Trainz, pantographs have a fixed height regardless of how high the wire is.

I know I know, that's why I put "touches" :) my point is that, if I were to make a route with catenary and then release it, would people see it as a bad effort if the catenary doesn't touch the pantograph at all times? I imagine not because most likely, different people would use different vehicles on it, regarding their preference, but should the pantograph always look as if it is touching the catenary? Obviously there are sections where it may be quite difficult, on a bend with a change in gradient for example
