Hello all, I am puzzled by the window pop up after selecting EDIT SESSION when I have loaded a route and also about the session layer when editing a route, that I hope that someone may be able to answer. The Window that pops up is headed Edit Session and shows the Name, Session Description and Rules. The Name showing is Default - and it appears I can edit this, but not sure why. However, my questions are these ... I have 3 sessions associated with the route I just opened, why doesn't the the Edit Session window allow you to choose - say from a drop down - the name of the session you wish to edit? Do I have to type in the name of the session I want to edit? Or am I missing something here?
I am using TRS22PE with a route and 3 sessions. After loading Trainz I select the route I wish to edit then select EDIT ROUTE. Then with the route open in S20, I select EDIT SESSION from the drop down.
The reason I ask this ... my normal work flow is to make changes to the route, then EXIT SURVEYOR - Prompted to save, then Save route and do not save session, then back to the routes, (select route) then VIEW SESSIONS and then select the session I wish to edit.
The other work around I was wondering about was this ... when you have loaded a route and editing, the route layer is selected, BUT you can also select the session layer and edit that. My question is along the same vein, with 3 sessions associated with the route, what session am I editing?
I think I understand the main principle of routes and their sessions, but I am having trouble managing moving between the two with certainty that my changes are being made where i want them to be made.
Thanks, Stu
