Editing a config file?

I'll probably purchase a new version of Trainz, but for the time being I'll have to put up with TS2004. How can I edit the config file of a passenger coach so it will carry passengers? I'm aware that notepad has to be used, but that's all I know.

I'd appreciate the help.

Okay, but what command needs to be put in the config file to make the passenger coaches work?

Get trainz objectz and open it. It will list all you content for you. Select the coaches that you want to enable passengers in and right click on it, a list will appear select enable ***** and it will do it automaticaly. Its a long time since Ive used it so hoping Im right with the how to find it. Although you can enable passengers in coaches you cant make the doors open, that is part of the creation of the asset. For ready made coaches and other Uk stock try UKBL.

There is a bit more to it that just adding one command to the config

Do you want the car to take a load of people or do you want the people show in side the car as well.

You might want to do a bit of research by searching the Forums as it has been covered many times before

Another tip is the best place to find 2004 answers is in the 2004 area of the forums

It is within the COC but I will try.

I would have pointed out how it did not breach the COC but have been warned if I qoute the COC I get banned

Thank for the polite warning I do hope your just not having a shot at me and that you will also be giving anybody else whos screen shots you think are to large also a polite warning as we want no favoritism on the forums. That is even after I get the kick in the pants I deserve as I make myself a pretty good target most of the time, but it such a big butt to kick and hard to miss and I am used to it LOL

No, not having a shot at you. The CoC says the maximum allowed screenshot resolution is 800 x 600 except in the Screenshots forum, where the maximum is 1600 x 1200, so I don't know what ya mean about it being within the CoC in this part of the forum.

He is right -Retro your gamer than I am - I have been told that quoting the COC is disruptive to the forums and you can get banned for it. - thats why I sent you a PM on the matter
