Edit engine specs

So, i've just installed a train from the dls, (its an electric train) but the acceleration and braking is really slow and not to which level i expected. Is there any way i can edit the train to make those things faster?

There is for sure, but it is more complex issue. For getting the train to run as much precisely as possible, it is necessary to upgrade the loco and its deps and first of all the enginespec to the latest trainz build standards using all newest config tags and containers (4.5 at least).
