Still looks like you build the rail line and then the terrain around it, which makes it just look awkward. O and only adding in curves after I point out something doesnt mean my statement was false.
Because when railroads are actually built they have to be built around the terrain. Makes it look more natural, most of the tracklaying I have seen from you doesnt seem to flow around the landscape. There are plenty of suggestions to help you.
You did say that all I built was straight track. And how is it awkward? Isn't that supposed to the way it's built in simulator? If I built the terrain first I'd probably screw it all up I know because I've tried doing it and it didn't turn out so well so that's why I do the tracks first. I can't really tell the difference though.
