Hi all,
Because of Railroad Tycoon 3, I am somewhat interested in content that covers the early beginnings of railroads in America and trains from the pre-Civil War period. The era in question is the 1830s to 1850s. Many of the classic 4-4-0s like the General were built in the 1850s but they are usually more connected to the Civil War and Reconstruction/Old West eras. I'm mostly talking about early locomotives like the Norris 4-2-0 which Ben Neal has made a model of. Terry Bryson has also made some early single type engines as well. Whitepass has the B&O York, and some early coal wagons. Are there any routes that fit the 1830s-1850s era and are there any other examples of rolling stock made for it? Thanks.
