A driverless (autonomous) iron ore train several kilometres long has derailed in the Kimberly region of Western Australia. According to reports the driverless train had suffered a mechanical failure and was in the process of being recovered by a second train when the collision occurred. No one was injured in the collision but several railworkers nearby were "shaken up".
