Downloaded & Burned To Disc. Cannot open

So I downloaded the game and put on a disc. I cannot get the install file to run at all. Anyone else know how to do this?

Are you using Vista by any chance?

It was definitely a good idea to backup the downloaded file to DVD. However, I've read that it might be necessary to run the installation procedure from hard disc.

As Ed hints, with Vista you'll probably need to disable the dreaded UAC and also run Trainz in Administrator mode (both installation and the program itself after installation).

If you're getting an error message when you try to run the installation procedure, post it here as it may provide a valuable clue to let someone help you better.
