Download Via FTP

I need some help badly. I try to download something off of the Download Station via FTP and when I go to download them, it wants me to type a username and password to access the FTP server. I check the box 'log on anonymously' and a username and password appear in their boxes. I select 'Log on' and it rejects the username and password. I have just learned about this way of downloading and I don't know what to do.

What browser are you using?

Downloading via the Download Station web pages via FTP should bring up a download link and no password required. N3V may also be blocking direct FTP downloading as there was content theft issues about a year or so ago and then there were changes.

I have found that you can only download 2 assets at a time via FTP, if you try to download a 3 assets, the password pop up dialog box displays. Try typing in you FTP username and password found on your account at Planet Auran

Thanks Cascade.

That's good to know because I used the FTP once or twice about 5 years ago and never had a problem. If I recall, my FTP password was listed right on the download page and all I did was copy and paste it in. It was something like 24 characters long and there was no way to remember it.

I've noticed that I have no problems using the FTP site with Internet Explorer (8,9,10, or 11) but I get the "maximum number of connections" message when I use Chrome, even though I have no downloads running. So far I've never been able to download successfully with Chrome.
