Whats up ith all of the freaking airplanes in locomotive section? This isn't a freakin airplane simulator. Theres very fiew decent American locomotives but theres at least 50 freaking airplanes. WTF?

The aeroplanes are themselves locomotives. They run on invisible track placed in the air.

You'll also find drive-able ships, busses, trucks and a 1963 VW Beetle, the latter made by yours truly. These run on invisible track placed over water for the ships and over roadways for the road vehicles. They can be controlled by AI or by the human player like trains, and can be good for seeing a layout/route from a different perspective or as extra eye-candy to accompany the trains.

Freakin Captainkman is right, the freakin planes on the freakin DLS run on invisible track which is freakin raised into the freakin air. Check out the freakin "New Aircraft" thread in the freakin screenshots section. Also, freakin consider freakin posting in the freakin forum section rather than the freakin blogs section, or better off not freakin posting about this freakin non-issue at all.

Nathanmallard, it isn't obvious that they're like that.

A suggestion to Vulcan and others is to put 'Drive-able' in the name of them so people like the OP know they're also locos for a reason.

Anywho, I do not understand why a train simulator is being filled with irrelevant material such as aircraft, ships, cars, and My Little Pony... But still, creators have the right to do whatever they want and we just have to sit back and sulk in misery as this community slowly deteriorates.

I was looking at some buses when I saw 10 frigging airbuses and I went KABOOM! The MLP thing just seems weird. I see billboards and figures all over the DLS. I am going through what you are doing PennsylvaniaRR01. I wonder why do we need friggin airbuses.
