Download Station, and Saving those files?

If I download content from the 'Download Station', where do those files go? Can I find them to back them up so that I dont have to re-download them later if I re-install the game?

When installed the files go into a Windows folder called "userData". For a standard installation this would be in "C:\Program Files\Auran\TS2010\UserData".

If you backup a copy of this folder then you will be able to reinstall the files in the event of a problem.

It's best to use the CM3 "Import Content" facility - point this at the backup folder and let it do its work.

(Just to clarify - when you backup the user data folder you need to backup all the sub folders in that folder as well).

I may be wrong on this (as it is TS2010, and the highest I have is TS2009) is to look for the cache/internet folder (if it is present, Content Manager normally stores copies of the files it downloads as CDP files in there, but with odd names)

itareus is correct though about needing to use the Import Content option, as frequently the content folders are not stored as CDP files but rather as open folders.
