Download Station 2006 / 2009 Not Working

I have tryed everything reinstalled updated and still the download station will not work. Then I tryed my 2006 it has been some time but it should still work nothing will not download ?????? just fed up with it took up all Christmas vacation and nothing anyone else having problems I have a FCT :(
 
There are several threads about downloading issues. I beleve Auran is aware of the problem and working on it. I've been able to download, but although there are over 100,000 items on the DLS, my CM2 in TS09 only shows 14085 items on the DLS and lists only 960 of them. When I go to the DLS through my TRS04 and check all of the boxes for all versions of trainz, I only get a result of 15,205. If I do a search for TRS04 items only, I get a result of 12,132. Something is amiss somewhere.

I hate to say it, but this might be a good sign that a lot of people have received Trainz over the holidays and are downloading content off the DLS.

The forums have been slow too. I reported this to Alan last week and he told the person in charge of that.

I'll be watching for a fix. It appears that nothing older than Nov 08 is showing up.

Content Manager not working

I can only run the content manager once, if I exit and come back at a later time it won't run. I emailed Auran and they said to delete and reinstall. I have done that, same thing happens. Content Manager keeps crashing, unless I reinstall then it will run once. I emailed them again, and they replied that I am the only one having problems with Content Manager and that it must be a problem with my computer. Needless to say, that is a crock. I am very disappointed in TS2009, to me, they rushed the release of this software without proper testing, and it is a mess. Does anyone have any ideas? It seems that Auran is in a state of denial that there issues, so I guess we have to fix their software for them. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

ps. I am using Vista 64 bit Ultimate, 4 gb Ram, Core 2 Quad 2.4 processor, and an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS video card.

Thanks all For the response I to will be waighting for the fix also 2009 looks great hope to get going soon ROLL ON
 
CM 2009 Never Downloads

I am not sure if you understand. My CM will start and boot up but when I try to download but nothing will download. The Current Speed is always 0.00 Bps and the Download Today is always 0.00 MB. I never get a download.

The CM doesn't crash as suggested so the fix above doesn't help my problem.:(

If you select an item in the DLS and click Download (helper) does the asset show up in the CMP (CM2) Download Helper Action Panel?

S2009 CM2 Download Station truncated

I've got TS2009 running but going itno CM2 I can only see items on DLS since November'08. I'm trying to get hold of 2' NG stuff I was using on TRS2006- but can't. Anything I can do to see all the DLS?:'(

Bob,

I select my choice right click on it select download it then places it in the DLH. I also tried to drag it in the DLH and select start still nothing. I can see my selection in the Download Helper Action Panel but still nothing goes. There is a little active icon that acts like it is showing it is downloading but not. Everything is idle. You can walk away and come back in a hour and it is still trying to download but nothing is happening. Since I put on 2009 I can't download in 2006 either.

I, too, am having a similar problem. the Download Helper starts, but then the download speed reverts back to 0.0 KBps and never picks itself up again unless I intervene. The only way to get it to connect again is to go into Settings, re-click "Use Internet Explorer Settings" and the download resumes.

But I shouldn't have to do this. I want my dependencies to download whilst I'm at work. This is ridiculous.

I seem to be having the problem i think you guys are having. I cant download. It says the things i try to download arent in the DLS. Yet that is where i recieved them from. Any Suggestons?
