Download problems

When I try to download items from the download station, it won't let me because it says that I have to register my serial number, which I have already done. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. Thanks

I have activated the first class ticket and when I try to download new items a window pops up saying ''Unable to register trainz URL key''. What should I do? I have already registered my serial number.

I have tried many things now and it still won't work. Everytime I click ''download'', the content manager comes up along with a box saying ''unable to register trainz url registry key''. Then, the content manager freezes and I have to close it.

Please help me, I don't know what else to do.

If you are running Vista and a TRS2006 build earlier than 3092 then your version is not Vista compatible. Check your build number in the bottom right corner of the TRS2006 main menu.

TRS06 as part of the Trainz Collection has been upgraded for Vista setup; as has TRS06 as supplied in the US with Trainz Railways; and also in the UK as distributed by Focus.

Patching is not possible as many of the changes had to be made in the installer.

If you are using the Vista compatible version you may need to run CMP as an administrator or elevate the permissions on the Auran folder...
Right click on the Auran folder and choose properties. Click the security tab and edit the permissions such that full control is applied. Vista will be unable to save any data to the Auran folder without this permission.

If you are running Vista and the message continues to appear you may need to re-install TRS2006 while logged in to your system as an administrator.

If you are running XP and the message appears you may need to re-install TRS2006 while logged in to your system as an administrator.

If you have tried everything listed here and are still having difficulty, let us know what specifically is happening and we may be able to assist further.
