I was able download other files ok, But not your one.

It looks to me like the DLS FTP server may not be fully operational right now. Probably related to the server move, it may be running slowly enough that the connection times out (aka gives up) before the server manages to send any data. I had trouble even trying to bring up the Download Page for some assets. CMP on the other hand is not having any trouble, so it may be specific to the FTP server. (CMP is downloading a lot faster then I've ever seen it download before. 22Kbps right now with no FCT.)

Re DLS

Hows this for a dilemma. I have two computers side by side one is a little older then the one I am now working on. The older one downloads "Content Manager" as it normally should but when I try to activate the C.M. on the one I am working nothing happens!
Any comment on this.

Doesnt make sense but then again I dont understand too much of how any of this CMP/DSL works.

I do find this problem I am having interesting though.....I just now realized that the first kuid listed is the item itself and all kuids under that are the dependencies. In my case the item itself does not have a kuid listed. If I remove the very first item listed the rest download to my folder very nicely. I am progressing ! lol Now to figure out how to get the main item itself downloaded. Have to wait until Auran get done upgrading I guess.

I am still having problems downloading via FTP but I can download by CM2 in 2009, so I think Auran have not finished whatever they are doing.

It has to be the change in servers or whatever. I tried some of john whelans new assets. The main won,t DL but the the dependencies do. Just be patient.

Get Message No such File etc.
Some items Dl with no problem others don't

I happen to use Trainz Agent for downloading, but it's the same problem. The kuids that won't download were all uploaded in the last few days and seem to be dead links (the download counter only logs attempts not necessarily successful downloads, so don't let the numbers fool you). Assets uploaded before that were OK and can still be downloaded.

The Auran 'code monkey' Terry, has observed the same problems with the same kuids, so he is aware of it. They said the server will be fixed by 12 March. Hopefully that will free up these dead links too.
