DLS w/ FTPs?

I've found that there is really no good way in my position to download from the DLS without an ftp. I'm asking, is there any easy way to download directly from the DLS without having to copy the directory from the server into my ftp box? Like i direct link from CM2.0 to a download link to an ftp link or on the actual web page? Even if there isn't, is there an easier way than this, cause my FCT is acting up.

From your wording of your problem, I don't understand it. I also have 04, 06 and 09.
In 04 I go to the Auran Download Station, select an item to download and it downloads directly into TRS2004.
In 06 I use CMP and select an item to download by putting it in the Download Helper Action Panel and download it from there. In 09 it's the same process except I use CM2. FTP never enters into it.
