dissapearing switches

in surveyor ... i have just noticed that my switches are not being put in automatically ... why ? and how do i get them back ??
There is an option to automatically place junctions. Check that it is still ticked.
I did have a similar problem in TS2009. Even though the option was ticked, the junctions would not appear automatically in a route I was building, but if I started a new route from scratch, they would appear automatically.

Maybe you need to check the config.txt file for the route. I'm not sure if there would be anything in there that could override the surveyor settings, but it would be the first place I would look if everything else is ok.
You might also check that the default switch lever is installed. If it's not, that would probably result in the problem you are having.

Sometimes when altering track close by the switch lever and arrows will vanish.
There's got to be some kind of proximity issue somewhere.
Easy to replace with T Side Lever.
Would rather not have to.
Oh well, such is life.

i have just started a whole new route and still have no levers ... is there any way of getting a copy af a default lever without installing an earlier version of trainz (i.e; trainz, utc, 2004, or 2006)?

Hello all , I am having the same problem in 2010 with sometimes the switch lever being placed and another time it is not,but if I notice there is no lever I go into the signal install and click the 3 pronged sign and then click on the red and green arrows of the point to change the point setting and the lever apears , hope you can understand my directions Stephen
